Poem: Cobwebs

cleaning cobwebs is a good idea,
you never know,
when bacterium and virus
render you too weak
and leave you to stare at your ceiling
you’d rather have it spotless for then.

cause when the flu comes knocking,
it brings gloom.
and the slightest shortcomings,
start to feel like apocalyptical failures

you’re fighting an infection,
you’re fighting depression,
do you really want to fight that cobweb?

its a ploy, it is enticing you to get entangled
to make you dance its dance,
and in spite of your lowered white blood count
it wants to mock your complete lack of domestic skills.
